Swing top bottle from Pivnizub. Thanks! Golden color, creamy head. malty, flowery aroma with boiled milk. Malty sweetish flowery, hopbitter flavor. Characterful for this type of beer.

Old rating from 2008 - Gründer Hell vs. Gründer.

Test vom 24.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,11,12,13,11,12 - 11,75

Bottle. It’s quite pale golden in color, with a big but diminishing white head leaving some nice lacings. Fruity and a bit grainy on the nose, with a hop aroma giving expectations for the flavor. It’s quite bitter in the mouth, with a balancing malty sweetness, and a fruityness. Medium body, slightly sticky. Maybe a bit sweet in the finish, but with a nice fruityness and a decent bitterness. A quite nice beer, a bit sweet, but nice. And now it’s retired. (080521)

The bottle looks good, better than the schwarzbier from the brewery. The beer in the glass is okay, relatively dark, spicy aroma. Tastes the same. Strong, malty and spicy, really good!

Bottled. A golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with a very clean malt profile combined with a hay like hop note, leading to a slightly bitter finish.
