Pours a deep dark brown colour with a small foamy tan head that slowly settled. The aroma is roasted malts with notes of liquorice and coffee grounds. A moderately sweet malty taste, roasted malts, liquorice and a hint of smoke with a light drying roasted bitter finish.

Pours dark brown, fairly clear. Scent is mild, some whiff of roastyness. Taste is full, dry maltyness (roasty) - touch of sweetness. Sharp, porter-typical side to it. OK.

From cask at The Royal Albert, New Cross, London, with Terje at a jazz quintet concert 23.04.23. Ebony. Pale brown head. Fine aroma and taste of roasted malt, liquorice, tobacco and brittle, all balanced by decent bitterness in aftertaste.
