Pours clear, very dark brown to black. No real head. Scent is pretty loud on the coffee. Tad herbal, mild on the barrel. Taste is intensely bitter, umami, mild on bourbon and barrel. Bit soy. OK. Medium fullbodied. Bit sweet. bourbon-grainy ending.

Sample at TCBW 2023 Opaque colour, tiny beige head. First impression was black currant. Then sweetish toasted malts, bourbon. Full-bodied. Roasted, vanilla sweetness, bourbon, booze in the flavour. Ok.
