The Koru is a New Zealand Māori term for a spiral shape that constantly evolves to symbolize new life and growth and resembles a fractal set. After thoroughly enjoying Super Fractal Phoenix Set, we wanted to grow Super Fractal as a series using hops exclusively from New Zealand and the Super Fractal Koru Set was born. Scaled up 3x from Fractal, we used a super simple grain bill of 2row and our specific fractal fermentation profile before intensely hoping it with Nelson, Motueka, Waimea, Rakau, and Wakatu.
Super Fractal Koru Set pours a vivid hazy yellow with an aroma of tropical citrus and lime. The flavor is bright candied orange peel, black currant, and white grapes with a light lime finish. This is a crazy one with some intense fruit tones. This beer is extremely aromatic and crushable with a big #EQjuice profile that might just leave you seeing beautiful and spirals shapes yet again.

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy yellow pour, dense, rocky head, clumpy lacing. Juicy, citrus aroma, oats. Taste is light citrus, mellow zesty flavors, orange peel. Thick and creamy feel. Absolutely delicious.

ABV: 10.0%. Murky matt medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, fruity malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange, candied orange, citrus, tropical fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, tropical fruit, orange - citrus, candied orange - apricot, fruity hops, rich. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming. [20230107]

Can picked up at Kihoskh and shared at home (29/12/2022) - opaque golden orange with a creamy white head. Dense exotic fruity aroma and taste, lots of mango and passionfruit, lychee, pineapple, thick fruity and malty mouthfeel and body, big punchy hoppy finish. Very nice.

Pours a very hazy, soft candle-yellow, with mid-sized, frothy white head. Aroma has some green onion, some gasoline, lots of citrus. Flavor is fairly bitter, with onion, gas, citrus, tropical fruits. Mouthfeel is very soft and full. Finishes with a strong dose of hop-pine bitterness. Alcohol content is well-hidden in the aroma and flavor.

Draught at Grand Delancey: pours opaque haze with a white head. Aroma is ripe tropical fruit: passionfruit, guava. Soft, juicy fruitiness. Dry finish.
