Bottled (BB 01/2008)
Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Dark hazy cherry-orange red color, steady small white head. Niose is not very strong, there is some sweetness with sourness, exotic fruits and caramel. Light palate, a bit caramelly and sour, some yeasty notes. Light caramel in the aftertaste. Usually amber ales don’t impress, this either.

Bottle, courtesy of yespr. Hazy, orange-golden beer with a nice, beige head. Sweetish, fruity aroma with malt and some caramel. The flavor has a slightly sour note, but the main impression is sweet and fruity. Medium, slightly sticky mouthfeel. Feels like the brewers are aiming well, but then slip a bit. Still quite drinkable. Rating: 5-3-5-3-10-2.6. (071005)

Bottle, shared by Maria. It pours a clear, dark golden body under a small, off-white head. Malty aroma with a touch of butterscotch, some fruityness and a little yeasty in the background. Sweet and fruity flavor with some roasted malt and a caramel. A little sourish touch in the finish. Medium body. Drinkable indeed, but a bit ordinary. (080412)

(Bottle 30 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Slightly hazy amber golden with a tall, handsome, dense, off-white head leaving some lacework. Lightly fruity, sweetish aroma. Medium body, sweetish malty with some fruit notes. Very subdued bitterness. But pleasant alright. 051007

30 cL bottle, thanks to MiP. Pours hazy orange with white dense head. Malty, slight yeasty and orange aroma. Flavour is soft mellow and crispy carbonated giving a light fresh flavour. Classic mellow experience of a slight spiced and yeasty flavour. Ends the same.

Bottle, 5.5%. Good, sweet hop aroma, slightly caramelly. Cloudy dark amber colour. Small stable head. The flavour starts off bitter, then turns to a distinct butterscotch flavour. Not just caramelly, this is diacetyl. Flawed IMO, but drinkable.

(bottle, from bierkoning) Hazy amber colour with a beige foamy medium head. Dusty, moderately sweet toasted malt aroma with notes of caramel and citrus fruits. Sweet flavour, sweet malty taste, medium body, fizzy carbonation, dry and yeasty fruity and light bitter finish. Nice looking brew with an aromatic nose, that lacks a bit character.
