An experimental IPA that’s fruity, hoppy, and hazy. What more could you want?

With whole cone hops in the mash and a special yeast designed to increase the Thiols, this brew features guava, passionfruit, citrus and pine flavours. Pay attention to the sweeter finish and darker colour compared to your average IPA thanks to a British base malt and caramel malts.

Hazy, quite pale, medium head. Fruity hop nose - stone fruit mostly. Good hop complexity and a decent pale malt base. Fernie has low key become an underrated brewery.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Cloudy blond colour. Fruity aroma, nice (7+). The mouthfeel is very dry, which doesn't work with this style, hence there is not much to say about the malt; and the hop is just a bit fruity, with almost no bitterness.
Timid.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy gold orange with a medium, foamy, short lived, off-white head that leaves soapy lacing. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, grapefruit, mango, apricot, cantaloupe, earthy yeast and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready caramel malt, tangerine, mango, peach, apricot, guava, papaya, cantaloupe, earthy yeast, oats and piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Juicy and delicious.
