330 ml bottle, batch #675, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.0%. Clear reddish amber colour, large head, slightly off-white. Aroma of caramel and brown kandij sugar syrup, grain and dust. Only a hint of orange peel. Smooth flavour, with the same elements, but the orange zest is slightly more distinct now. Moderately sweet, also fairly distinct earthy bittering hops in the finish.

330ml bottle, #675, beer gift from Frau Eva. Steady, pearl white head, cloudy orange-brown body, crocheted lacing on the glassware. Promising smell of dried fruits and mid-sweet malts. Mixed taste of caramel malts, ripe citrus, and earth, sugar sweet backbone. Caramel fruity finish. Developing taste profile. Pretty good, a little too much on the sweet side though. (Tromsø 23.12.2022).

Delt med A-L. Gyldenbrun. Uklar. Høyt tett slum med litt farge. Daler sakte. Aroma av gjær, nøtter & sirup. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken kandissukker. Tørr fruktig bitter avslutning. Bra fylde.

Kumlefjorden juleølsmaking 2022. Golden color with an off-white head. Aroma is yeast, fruit, malt, bread. Flavor is yeast, fruit, malt, spices, cellar notes, orange peel, caramel, alcohol. OK beer.

Bottle. It’s a clear one, golden in color, with an off-white head. Mostly malty aroma, bread, grains, some generic fruityness and a cellar touch. It’s rather sweet on the palate, sugary, with alcohol warmth and a decent bitterness. Pale malts, a spiced hint, white bread, grains, orange zest hints and a touch of alcohol in the flavor. Warming, orange zest bitter finish. Nothing particular going on here, but a decent beer anyway. 221126
