Inspired by some old Brabant tradition, this beer was brewed with barley malt, raw wheat and aged hops. It was turbid mashed, coolshipped, spontaneously fermented and aged in oak barrels for an average of 24 months.

From 0,75l bottle at Antidoot in Kortenaken. yellow hazy color, small white head. smells earthy, grassy, stone fruits, bit grainy. Lovely smell full body, soft carbonation. tastes earthy, grassy, bit soapy, herbal, bit peppery. finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of pepper, grass and earthy notes. Very nice one, very fresh

Rerate 25.07.2025: 0,75l bottle shared at home. yellow rather hazy color, small white head. smells spices, herbal, earthy, citric, oak. Very nice smell. full body soft carbonation. tastes oak, spices, Brett, earthy, herbal. finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of oak, spices and herbs. Lovely beer (as always)

Clear metallic golden beer under a small if fairly stable white head. Very fine & delicate lambic-y nose (brewmethod as explained above is identical to that of lambic). Faint lemony aromas, Brettanomyces. Fine lemony flavour as well, wheat, very dry and tart. Dry-out effect, not very carbonated, light body. It's not lambic/gueuze. Yet.
