‘Devil's Orchard' features a sweet, viscous stout base aged for 26 months in freshly-dumped, premium Apple Brandy Barrels. After it’s rest in the barrels, the luscious liquid provided prevalent notes of honey crisp apples, candied oak, and meadow flower honey that was the perfect foundation for a delightful drizzle of melted caramel. The result is our iteration of an Apple Hill caramel apple drizzled with a sweet brandy sauce over the top

Black body, with a small, creamy, tan head. Aroma of creamy dark chocolate, coffee, moderate soy sauce, spirits barrel. Tastes lovely, very rich, quite similar, with more barrel notes. Full, oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes warm, slightly boozy, medium roasty, medium sweet, with dark chocolate, soy sauce, barrel. Beautiful, rich sipper, with a creamy chocolate character to it, while also with enough robust notes. Perfectly integrated barrel notes, complex and deep. Score: 8 / 4 / 9 / 4 / 17
