Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 21C adapted: non-alcoholic). Can 35.5 cl - Batch: XFWA29160 18:09 (BB: 28/10/2026). AROMA: medium-high hop aroma (fresh-green, lupulin, slight mint). neutral background. APPEARANCE: light yellow and hazy. medium-low white head with low retention. TASTE: initial medium-low hop flavor (pine, slight mint and lupulin). very low malty background, neutral, with a faint worty character. high bitterness with dry and somewhat harsh bitterness that persists. MOUTHFEEL: low body with medium-low carbonation. slight astringency. OVERALL: a good NA IPA without distracting worty flavor but with excessive bitterness with no support.

Hazy gold with a medium sized white head. Bitter with strong body odor and onion. Regrettably long finish. Medium body. Disgusting. A total drain pour.

330mL can, pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma has some dankness, earthiness, and some mustiness. Flavour is rather harsh, with bitter earthiness, citrus, and rough earthy graininess. Not great, but pleasant enough for a NA hazy.

355mL can. Pours a murky dull blonde with a white head. Lots of dead citrus on the nose. Flavour has lots of dry citrus peels, dead malts. Very harsh and unrefined. This definitely tastes like a non-alc.

Pours hazy yellow and has a light citrusy aroma. The flavor is citrusy and malty with a malt profile that resembles many session IPAs. Not bad. The Sierra Nevada NA hazy is better, as is Athletic’s regular NA IPA.

Can - this is probably one of the more satisfying N/A IPA's I've tried, and is authentic enough to make me forget I am drinking an N/A beer - pretty decent heft to the body - hop profile is pleasant, herbal, and citric - the malt profile is more robust than you'll typically find in an N/A and is not at all watery on the tail end, which can also often happen - this is now my go-to N/A IPA.

Hazy pale yellow colour, large, quickly collapsing head; aroma of rottten watery pineapple and orange, some vegetables and grapefruity notes; taste is even worse with the same notes as can be felt in the aroma; it was a mistake to buy...and also to brew...
