Clear blond colour, white foam. Nose of cardboard, sweet malts, diacetyl. Sweet, malty and dirty. Not good at all

Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, leicht hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, leicht hopfig, leicht getreidig. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Bottle from Pivnizub, thanks! Malt, orange and boiled milk in the aroma. malty falvor with vanilla, boiled milk, hay and a distant hopbitterness. Light hopbitter aftertaste. Medium bodied.

0,5 l bottle. New label art work and now called only Export. Clear dark golden in the glass with a more than one finger foamy head. Looks good. Smells smooth grassy grainy. Taste starts grainy, some bitterness, more than expected. Present hop. More caramel sweetness in the middle part. Very low carbonated. Slick. Nice.

Bottle @ Home as Mittenwald Export 5,2% ABV. Pours golden with a fading white head. Aroma of malt grain, little white sugar, hay. Flavor is light sweet, malty, grain, little sugar, hay. Medium body, average to lively carbonation, light sweet finish. 130319

From the bottle. Gold with a foamy head that soon fades. Aroma of mixed grains and metals. Taste mercifully leads in another direction—soft buttery sweet with hints of white bread and herbs. Body is medium, carbonation moderate but fades fairly quickly. Nothing worth looking at here.

Nach einer Umbenanneung des Portfolios heißen die Biere nurmehr "Mittenwalder ...", also dieses "Mittenwalder Export". Es ist ein klassiches Export, das stärker gehopft ist als ein Helles und daher etwas gehaltvoller und auch herber. Das passt aber auch ganz gut.
