Emerald Necklace Series - Presenting a sunny, honey-yellow color, Public Garden utilizes Mosaic and Strata to conjure a complex bouquet of aromas. Tropical notes of candied pineapple and juicy mango lead the way, with underlying tones ranging from bright citrus, canned peach, cantaloupe, and a soft, woody earthiness adding intrigue to each sip. Dry and gently bitter, Public Garden finishes medium-bodied and easy-drinking.

Draft at Trillium Brewing - Fenway. Poured a hazy orange color with a small, dense very slightly off-white head. Aroma was light onion, juicy citrus, pineapple. Light peach? Really, really smooth.

Canned 4/13/21, drunk 5/7/21.
Dark brass, murky with a sparse, white head that rapidly dissipates.
Sort of like Franklin Park, a bit on the aggressively hoppy side. Though not quite as much pine as that one. More grapefruit with a touch of cracker and heavy bread from the malt. Stronger than average mineral, almost earthy character from the yeast. A bit of papaya and pineapple to assert the New England side of it.
In the mouth it's on the lighter side for the style with a rather strong earthiness that approaches a dirt-like character at times. Quite bitter for the style with strong white grapefruit and light pine vying with papaya and light mango. A bit punchy and coarse for my liking, though at least it's not a cookie cutter NEIPA. Reasonably substantial body and texture, perhaps a touch on the thinner side.

Pours a hazy, golden pineapple, with mid-sized head. Aroma has some grass, dankness, and a touch of green onion, besides the expected citrus and tropical fruit. Flavor follows. Has a soft, sweet mouthfeel, with more than a little hop bitterness at the finish.

Pours murky light gold into a nonic. Soapy white head crackles and recedes to bubble surface. Dusty apricot fuzz and earthy stable aromas. Spritzy with sweet apricot, mango and pear upfront turning to soft dark caramel before the lasting overripe tangerine pith and peel finish.
