Pours a pale yellow colour and a dense white head with good retention. Aroma's: lovely dank hops, floral. Retronasal it's dank, sweetish, fruity. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Smooth mouthfeel. Medium bodied. Moderate bitter finish. Remarkably good for a supermarket beer.

Supermarket hazies, stored poorly and not the freshest. Let's try! Still nicely soft, hoppy and even fruity. Sweet, light bitter finish, grapefruit, white grapes. Very nice, for what it is and considering circumstances.

Latvian NEDIPA, can from the Jumbo supermarket of Breskens, shared with Goedele. Yellowish egg-white, thick and frothy, cobweb-lacing, opening head on a cloudy yellow blonde robe. Aroma of dried lemon zest, grapefruit peel, starfruit, dough, plantain, zucchini, lychee when warming up, hints of moist white pepper, green mango, lemongrass, gin. Sweetish onset, light passionfruit and starfruit with touches of mango and lychee without going all sweet and tropical, soft fizz, full and fluffy body; doughy core (with a dash of soggy Betterfood to it) under a wave of citric, gently tropical hops, remaining well in control of itself and not becoming as exuberant as in your typical NEDIPA – but the flavours and aromas are certainly there, and do their job well. A kind of introductory NEDIPA if you will, for those accustomed to more traditional beer genres; there are vague hints of alcohol and even hopburn after swallowing, but nothing to be worried about, the whole remains well-constructed and balanced. Decent for sure.
