Bottle at home. Pours deep brown, nose is roasted, caramel, wood, port, taste is similar, nutty, bitter, a bit musty.

Bottle, 330 ml, shared with others. Dark brown with tan head. Caramel, some port, sweetish, dried fruit, plums, spicy. Medium+ bodied.

Bottled, thanks to I reckon Iznogud and his cousin? And, of course, AJ for sharing. Murky brown body, off-white head. Chocolate liqueur, perfumey in the aroma, port AND chestnuts both in evidence there. Really interesting. Lean, dry taste, too dried out, chestnut-dominant, the barrel notes keeping to the backgroung. Pretty spicy, with the alcohol contributing to the factor and lowering drinkability. Quite interesting, original I'd say - haven't had anything like it in a while. It is what it is!
