A: hazy brown, no head.
A: candied date, clove, aniseed, liquorice, wet cinnamon, vanilla; Negroni somewhat (Campari, vermouth), vague brandy.
T: sweet date, prune, toffee, brown sugar; liquorice & speculoos (spices), vanilla.
F: herbal & peppery hops, spices, vanilla, boozy whisky alcohol.
P: medium to full body, thin oily texture, flat carbonation.
Interesting what the freeze distillation did to the base beer, which indeed had some spicy notes. Comes in at a whopping 28% but does lack some body.
