500 ml bottle, as Kloster Scheyern Kloster-Export Dunkel , from Rewe Getränkemarkt, Erding. ABV is 5.4%. Mahogany coloured beer, moderate off-white to beige head. Moderate aroma of brown bread. The flavour is moderately malty with notes of caramel and brown bread, but it is not too sweet. Just enough hops to make this a fairly well-balanced and drinkable dunkel.

Bottle. It presents a clear, copper body under a finger-thick beige head. Caramel, hints of dried fruits, a faint touch of dms and some roasted malts in the aroma. The flavor is sweet, with caramel and dried fruits. Some roasted notes, coffee-style. Sweet and bitter finish. A full-bodied beer that feels a bit sweet initiall, but dries up quite quickly. 100327

Bottle. Sweet chocolate/caramel malt aroma with a hint of cherry. Clear ruby-brown color with small head. Sugary sweet caramel malt flavor with a light bitter finish. Decent beer but a bit light.

Bottled@Björntasting. Reddish amber colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is caramel malts, some sugary notes as well as some dark dry fruits and raisins. Flavour is dark fruits, some mild toasted notes as well as rather burnt sugary as well.

Bottle 50cl.Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, roasted, caramel, nutty, brown sugar notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081122]

Darl amber with medium beige head. Flavour is somewhat sweet with roasted malt and caramel notes. Sweet flavour with roasted malr, caramel and chocolate notes. Finished sweet.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a diminished white head. Dry malty and slight wooden aroma. Solid caramel malty flavoured with a mild wooden note. Dry malty flavour following. Mild spiced into the finish.
