The latest in our Pardus Imperial Stout Series, this creme brulee version is a true delicacy. Pardus is a great example of an imperial stout, well rounded with characters of treacle, fresh ground coffee and raisins. This base beer works in harmony with the classic flavours of caramelised sugar and vanilla to create a huge and complex depth of flavour.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, rich beige head. The nose is entirely dominated by vanilla. Sweet with full body and well rounded mouthfeel. A fine, dense roasty stout hides there somewhere under all the vanilla. Mid bitter finish. Yup, another great beer ruined by vanilla.

Canned (from Alko Web) .Pitch black colour, mediumsized foamy big head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is roasted, some sweet coffee and sugar to it. Actually leaning more to Tiramisu than Creme Brulee... Flavour is sweet malts, some toffee, caramel, burnt sugar and some mild vanilla to it. Smooth and nice.

Can 44 cl. Pours a dark brown with a creamy, beige head with a good retention, some lacework. Caramel and vanilla in the nose. Medium body only, quite a bitter roastiness and some notes of milk chocolate. Bitter finish. 191122

440ml can from Thornbridge Beer Club - Deep brown body, white top. Nose of molasses and sweet prunes, vanilla and rich dark chocolate. This one really works because the sweetness of the cream and caramel takes away the harsh bitter edge that was emphasised with the fruitier versions. Really nice.
