Jens Smagning 11/04/2024 - dark malty with some nice roasty malty action, cocoa, coffee roast, flinty minerals, slight salty edge, nice mouthfeel and body, dark drying malty finish. Works well, very nice.

Can 44 cl. Pours an opaque black with a solid and lacing, beige head. Some roastiness but also a less pleasant unfresh or even rotten note. Medium body, sweet roast and chocolate - no unpleasanties here. Ends mainly dry with no greater bitterness. 071223

mild roasted malty aroma, slightly chocolatey sweet. flavor is mild roasted malty, chocolate, licorice. I don't think I can taste the dumont, but I think that might be a good thing, could easily be overdone. decent mild stout, bit sweet but not too sweet.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Dark brown, small head. Aroma of coffee and herbs. Mid sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel. Caramel, licorice and umami. Long bitter finish.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Deep brownish black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is grains, some coffee, roasted malts, mild toffee and some earthy tones. Flavour is coffee, roasted malts, some liquorice and mild tea leafs with grains and some chocolaty and ashy tones in the aftertaste.

ABV: 5.5%. Clear dark red brown colour with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, caramel, dark malt, umami, seasalt, seaweed. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, umami, sweet malt, dark malt, seaweed, roasted, caramel, rich, roasted bitter - malt bitter, seasalt touch, medium dry. Body is medium to full, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20230427]

Can from HavnensVinOgTobak. Pours clear dark reddish brown with large offwhite head. Aroma is malt, roasted malt, bread, cereal, coffee, green tea and hints of soy sauce. Taste is medium sweet, light to medium bitter and light salty. Body is watery with fizzy carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of roasted malt, toasted bread, campfire smoke (peated malt, maybe?) coffee, espresso, black tea, green tea, sweet liquorice and soy sauce. The seaweed is not really present, but there are hints of saltwater and oyster sauce.
