Bottle # 97. Tequila-like aroma, grainy, malty and a hint of lychee. Flavor has matured alcohol, mixed with melon and hints of citrus. Malty with remaining flowery hops in the finish. Well matured and well balanced in spite of the alcohol burn.

Bottled (same as bierkoning). Hazy yellow color, big frothy white head. ARoma of tequila (that’s what everybody mentioned), bit dusty, slight citrus. Taste is quite alcoholic, liquor, like a spicy triple as well. It sure is dangerous with that alcohol percentage!

1500ml. bottle. 2005 vintage. Bottle nr. 88. Bought at Olbutikken, CPH summer 2007: Pours cloudy orange with a sprinkly off egg white head. Aroma is sweet & vinous/champaigne & of grapes & orange. Soft, lively & warm mouthfeel dominated by alcohol, spices, yeast & fruits. True sipper. A bit heavy - but very Complex. This has matured well. Very well.

One of the highlights of RBSG ’07. This beer might be the world’s second best tripel after Karmeliet. A very sweet and complex beer. Orange in color and an aroma that includes coriander, orange, bitter hops, and wild grass. Sweet and lots of sugar but also citrus, and pear, as well as more coriander and peach. A minor burn from alcohol, which is OK in a tripel. The beer is quite thick and like Syrup. Thanks for Yesper for carrying two giant bottles of this to the Twin Cities. I tasted from bottle 91.

Draught at Ølbaren, vintage 2004
Hazy light blond color. Interesting spicy aroma, more sour (citrus fruits) than the average Triple; white beans. Powerful body, enough malt roundness, well balanced. Very good.
