Vort eneste produkt der er overgæret. I gamle dage blev der brygget to typer hvidtøl. No. 1 og No. 2. No. 1 var brygget stærkest, og blev kun solgt til højtiderne. Vi brygger No. 1 hele året rundt.

Dark ruby, with a medium lasting off-white head. Caramel, molasses, syrup-y aroma. Very sweet with a tiny grain/grass note.

Bottle. Weak, slightly farty aroma. Clear dark brown colour, slight red shine. OK stable, light brown head. Quite sweet, but not as sweet as many other hvidtøl. Strange aftertaste, reminding me of aspartam, but not quite as bad. Not very roasted.
Earlier Rating: 5/4/2006 Total Score: 2.8

(Bottle 33 cl) AS "Hancock Jule Hvidt Øl No. 1". Pretty Christmas "hvidtøl", almost more red than brown. Not much head though. Sweetish yes, but not overly so. Distinct roasted malt in both aroma and flavours. Not at all bad for it’s style. 4/3/4/2/8=2.1 180200
Earlier Rating: 8/8/2005 Total Score: 2.1

Very small yellowish head over very dark red-brown to black beer. Rich chocolate nose, quite sweet , praliné filling, slight touch of liquorice and brown sugar. Fruity, Traubenzucker character; very sweet, even less liquorice and more sugar. Quite fizzy, cola-like MF; obviously light in alcohol but quite some restsugars, higher sugars, etc filling in. A good table beer for children, better than what most Belgian warehouses fill their crates with.Earlier Rating: 3/12/2004 Total Score: 2.9Beautiful red-brown; slim beige head, fast dissipating. Nose of raspberry jam, chocolate cake, brown eggbread, just a bit of malt,... In fact, excepted the bacon and the coffee, it smells like the whole coffee table. Quite nice and appetising. The taste brings one back to reality. And yet - it has an initial Coca-Cola sweet-sourness, with just a touch of hoparoma retronasal. Mouthfeel - ah, yes. It IS a tablebeer, after all. Velvety, let's say. Actually - I think this is great - in its style. Now this one, one can rear children on to become beertasters.

A deep red beer with a beutiful though disappearing brown head. The aroma is sour from the use of brewing cereal, with notes of licorice, straw, and some sweetness. The flavor is nicely sweet with notes of licorice and brown sugar. But the body is thin.
Earlier Rating: 1/25/2004 Total Score: 3
Pours dark nut brown with a fine though collapsing tan head. The aroma is very sweet with notes of liqurice and sourness from the brewing cereal. The flavor is very sweet with notes of liqurice, straw, and underlying notes of sourness from the brewing cereal. The end is slightly bitter and dry - rather bitter for the style.

Dark amber color. The big sweetness makes of this an easily drinkable one, but anyway it’s quite poor.
Earlier Rating: 12/8/2003 Total Score: 2.1
Brown, like Coke. Quite strong bread aroma, sweet; bran. Very sweet, light tamarind, quite strong caramel; candies. Sweet final. A very easy soft drink (and probably healthier than sodas)..

Bottled. Nut brown. Fruits and grass up front. Very swet and soda like. Syrupy thick mouthfeel. Much too sweet for me...
