500ml bottle from Alko
Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of roasty malts, spices and hints of smoke, licorice and anise. Taste is smooth, warming and roasty with hints of smoke, anise and licorice. Finish is sticky, malty and slightly roasty. Okay, quite tasty winter porter with a touch of smoke.

Nice smoked aroma but sweetness a little too much on the sickening side in this one. Dark brown pour with ok lacing. Taste finishes sweet and boozy. Aroma has lots of caramel sweetness. Not a huge fan. Tap at brewpub.

Draft at HopCat, Grand Rapids. Deep garnet body, thin beige head/ring. Nutty, fruity nose with toffee and alcohol; smoky. Smoky body, sweet and vinous with thin sugars and flabby malts. Dull; disappointing.
