--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Bright purple, no head. Aroma of black currant lemonade. Sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel. Mostly black currant lemonade, can't feel any fermentation products and only slight honey.

[ As Lepola Mead - Hopped Black Currant Honey Wine ].
ABV: 4.0%. Clear dark red colour with a average, quick, pink head. Aroma is blackcurrant, honey. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, blackcurrant jam with honey, ribena with honey, blackcurrant lemonade, medium dry. IMO: Why ! Body is medium, texture is watery - syrupy, carbonation is flat. [20230422]

Bottled (from Vaasan Minimani). Deep red colour with minor head. Aroma is black currant, some toffee, honey and some wooden tones. Flavour is nicely honeyish and black currant tartness with some slight wooden and toasted tones.

Bottle at home, Nivala. BBE25.3.2023. Colour is clear dark Ruby with no head. Aromas and flavours: Berries, red berries, black currant, some honey... Black currant and mead just doesnt work.

33 cl bottle @ Hirvihuhta, BBE 25.03.2023 Aroma is sweet with honey and blackcurrants. Flavour is also sweet with blackcurrants, honey and sugar. The tartness of blackcurrants is present but it is not dominating. Could have more character.
