(Bottle) Dark amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of dried fruit (apricots), bread and herbs. Malty, toasted taste with dried apricots, brown bread, caramel, burnt sugar. Rather sweet, slightly above medium body. Some alcohol lingers in the background. Spicy hops in the finish. Nothing extraordinary, but a well made Swedish Christmas bock beer (even on a warm June evening).

500ml bottle. Nice Yuletide lable. Clear dark brown with a quickly fading head. Aroma has got weak notes of liquorice. Sharp, dark malty taste combined with hints of dark fruits. Short and abrupt ending. Well hidden alcohol. Highly carbonated (Nordic Sea Hotel, Stockholm 30.11.2006).

Bottled. Ruby/dark amber colour, small white head. Aroma says quite little, mainly weak sweetness and malts. Same with flavour, mainly extreme sweet malts in flavour. Aftertaste dry maltish/hoppy with grassy hints. Weak roast also.

Bottled (BB 07/2006)
Dark amber/ruby color, small off-white head. Papery malty, a bit caramelly aroma. Liquerish palate, roasted malty, some metallic notes. Quite similar to Finnish IV class Christmas beers. Roasted, slightly harsh aftertaste.

A nut brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is very light - what is there is of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of caramel and straw.

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful dark golden beer with a nice full body. Quite some hoppiness. The quintessence of a nice Chrismas beer. 251104 and 270602

Ruby color, nice lace. Nice malt aroma, deep, with a touch of Madeira. Straight flavor, not original but well balanced within malt sweetness and bitterness, roasted barley, alcohol, quite strong caramel. Similar to a strong and dry Scottish Ale.

Brownish amber colour. Hint of toffee in the nose of this Christmas seasonal, but from there on it's all alcohol. Thin body and low bitterness.
