26/02/2024 Jens Smagning 26/02/2024 - dark roasted and sweet malty with notes of chocolate, charred burnt malts, medium body, spiced dark malty finish. A little heavy on the spice.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of hops, straw, caramel, and fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, straw, caramel, and fruit, leading to a bitter finish.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Black, mid sized coarse head. Aroma of viola, licorice and lavender. Mid dry with medium to full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Coffee and licorice, lavender and tropical blossom. Resinous very btiter finish. Edgy, but interesting.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is aloe vera, some nectar, mild lavendel, mild toffee and some spiciness with mild liquorice. Flavour is herbal, some nutty, mild inky and some herbal and ashy tones. Strange sweet sharpness in the finish, something between inky and ashy.

ABV: 8.4%. Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, molasses, chocolate, spicy, ginger. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average duration, coffee - chocolate, dark malt, roasted, spicy, ginger, spicy - ginger bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20230409]
