--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Black, rich beige head. Reeks of peanut butter, boiled milk and cloying vanilla. Painfully sweet with full body and sticky mouthfeel. Syrup, artificial sweetener, boiled milk, peanut butter and custard. In short: unfathomably cloying and totally undrinkable.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is peanut butter, coffee and some mild vanilla. Flavour is coffee, peanut butter and some mild ashy tones. A bit boozy in the finish, but otherwise quite nice.

Sample at Shelter. Oily, leggy black, no head.  Sweet nose, vanilla, Kahlua, marshmallow, malt, licorice.  Flavor is really fudgey and cakey then the rest.  Finishes with peanut brittle, booze and malt.  8 2 8 3 14

Canned 7/14/22, drunk 8/21/22. Thick, viscous, ebony with a rich, deep tan head showing moderate-to-low retention. More of the coffee and vanilla in the nose, than the sugary marshmallow, with light nuttiness that could be peanut, could be hazelnut (so, not overdone). Doesn't seem to be boozey, surprisingly, with good roasted acidity and a full, rich aroma. Soft, silky, thick and rich with light, roasted nuts adding an earthy salinity to the vanilla and coffee richness. Big malts add some burnt acidity but are fairly reasonably attenuated, drying out on the finish, with the help of the alcohol and coffee, joined by plentiful acidity to give a reasonable sense of balance. At least, it's far from a syrupy sugar bomb.
