Bottle. An almost clear, brown beer with a small, off-white head. Quite weak aroma with some roasted malt and caramel. Weak on the flavor too, even for a mild, with caramel, roasted malt, a little bitterness, and some cooked vegetables. Roasted finish with a little bitterness. Medium body. A rather boring beer, at least if you’re only having one, but I guess it would be boring as a session beer too. (080411)

50 cL bottle, batch 241. Pours dark brown with a light brown and lacing head. Aroma is roasted, caramel sweet malty. Bread like flavour with hoppy citric fruityness. Softness provided by the chocolate malt which can be made out just before the finish. Dry malty finish with some bitterness. Good brew, but clearly lacks some body.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of chocolate, straw, tobacco, and dusty hops. The flavor is lightly sweet, due to the low ABV character, with dry notes of straw, roasted malt, chocolate, tobacco, and some spices. Leading to a very dry roasted end. No wonder the body is on the light side. Nice low ABV beer.

Draft. A hazy red-brown beer - with no head, due to very low carbonation. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, fruits, and prunes. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of caramel, but also light notes of chocolate and sulphur, and the body is thin.
