Bottle. Slightly sweet aroma. Dark brown colour. Stable, creamy light brown head. Sweet, lemony flavour. Quite interesting. Tannin-like bitterness. Different, but not bad.

Bottled (BB 05/2006)
Dark ruby with creamy off-white head. Aroma is dominated by artifical lemon - like in some lemon beers like Two Dogs. Medium-bodied. Syrupy, sweet, mixed with lemon acid to make this unbalanced. I don’t think that rum is added here.

(Bottle 33 cl) I believe this is the only strong Ceres beer, that hasn’t been standardized under the "Ceres Royal" tag. Beautiful reddish brown with a fine, creamy head. It must be some very unusual malts used in this ’cause both in flavour and appearance this is one of the oddest Danish brews. Sweetish nose - almost like a desert wine. Sweetness also marked in the flavour with notes of both nuts and caramel. Added flavour and colour may explain some of the oddities. Not for everyone, but truly original. 190200

Nice orange aroma. Does not give in the beginning. Good head, mostly lasting. Tastes like orange flavoured chokolate. I like it, but it is very speciel.

Cherry-Cola colour, with slim off-white head. Very nice nose, perfumed as fresh melon, with, indeed a dash of dark rum. Faint malt in the background. Taste: oops. Artificially coloured & flavoured lemonade from the sixties as main taste, ending in a sharp, short bitter-burnt bite, with bubblegum lingering on. ’Unbalanced’ doesn’t even come near. Light bodied, spritzy mouthfeel. Worse distinciton between nose and taste is hardly imaginable. Very poor, at the end. Indeed something from the country that was already responsible for Cherry Heering...

Dark amber color. Strong, sweet, caramel aroma, candies, petrol. Sweet, too much, odd; caramel, herbs; bad.

Ruby colured. Moderate head. Spicy aroma (cardamom?). Different, spicy, lemonade-y flavour, gets way too sweet in the long run.

A very dark red beer - but with no head. It has an aroma of anis or other sweet spice. The flavor is very complex but unrecognicable except for a little lemon. I must admit that it is more a rarity than a beer I enjoy.

Good head, beautiful dark brown colour, pleasant aroma, flavour and aftertaste dominated by an overwhelming sweetness. Too sweet for me.

Chestnut brown. Shandy-like artificial lemon aroma. Thin, super sweet and thoroughly terrible. Chemical finish. Just as bas as Desperados...
