Dark amber colour with medium white head.Aroma is roasted and bread with hint of dried fruit and caramel good hops and grass note to its as well nice by style beer.

Bottled. Ambery brown colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, toffee and some toasted notes. Flavour is toffeeish, toasted and some herbal and mild grassy notes. Nice malty body to it.

500ml bottle. Opalescent, dark amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish malty and minimally waxy, hoppy aroma, hints of toffee, butterscotch. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally nutty and caramel malty, hints of toffee, a touch of butterscotch, old nougat. Creamy texture, smooth, super-soft and silky palate, very fine, soft carbonation. Excellent mouthfeel, not overly intense - OK.

Bottle, bought in De Schans Uithoorn. Amber color. Bready aroma with caramel and cappuccino. Caramelly sweet flavor with flowery hops coming through in the aftertaste. Quite malty and bready.

bottle from somewehere in Franconia. Brown with a mid-sized off-white head. Malty with flavours of Blockmalz and roasetd malt, caramel, with some good earthy hops in the finish.

50cl bottle. Pours clear deep amber colour with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of nuts, caramel and mild roasted malt. Taste of mild roasted sweet malt, nuts, spicy hops, really nice!

On tap at Hummel Merkendorf. Clear dark amber colour lasting ivory head. Malty toffee aroma. More of the same in the mouth. A touch of herb. I can see that a nob fresh version in a bottle could be a bit dull . Fresh at the brewery it?s malty full and quite satisfying. Not brilliant but a competent malty beer

Draught. Clean brown with a short head. Aroma is is toasted caramel. Flavour is tangy malt, some spice on a medium dry bitter finish
