Swing-top bottle. Lemon/banana wheat malt aroma. Cloudy orange-yellow color with moderate head. A mixture of Weizen (lemon/banana and wheat malt) and grassy hops - a mixture of the 2 styles - exactly what it says. Interesting to say the least - worth a try.

bottle. Cloudy pale yellow, large head. Aroma of a Hefeweizen, although it is a Weißbierpils. It starts like a Hefeweizen and than becomes more and more like a Pils, being quite hoppy in the finish. Interesting and unusual combination of two styles.

The bottle looks neot bad - silver. The beer in the glass looks like a normal hefeweizen. The beer starts also like a weizen, the finish is more like a pilsner but becomes vapid really fast. Nice experience, but only an average beer.

Bottle, 5.1%. Cloudy pale yellow colour. Big, stable, rocky white head. The flavour starts off like any old Hefe, OK fruity with a little banana. Finishes drier, though, and with a little more bitterness than usual in a Hefe. so I guess there are characteristics from both pils and Hefe. Rather high carbonation.

Huge white head with lace; hazy orange-yellowish beer with a light olive haze. Dry nose with the Weizen typics: banana, cloves, orange and - is it suggestion? - olives. Also bog myrtle. Drier than a classical Weizen. And hence, close to a Kristal Weizen. Dry, dull MF. ...Silly.

(swing top bottle) Cloudy orange colour with a big foamy yellowish head. Slightly sweet and yeasty, orange-fruity aroma with a shy wheat character. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, crispy mouthfeel. Initially short malty, citrousy taste; dry and quite bitter finish with distinctive herbal and slightly grassy hoppy notes. Not my definition of balance.

Bottle: Pale golden coloured, cloudy, quite firm white head; the first fruity (bananas) aroma makes quickly way for a delicate sweet-grainy, slightly hoppy nose; sweetish flavour, light bodied; sweetish fruity finish with a light, not very distinctive hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. A mild, pleasant brew.......

Bottled at RBESG-06, GTN. Yellow, milky-looking with a white head. Banana, cloves and some citric notes in the aroma. The flavor is mostly cloves and banana. Thin body and a dryish and spicy finish. Quite bitter for a weissbier. (060826)
