Het perfecte evenwicht tussen donkere mouten en fruitige hop, dat is de beste omschrijving van dit bier. In het begin ruik en proef je de fruitige hop, maar deze gaat langzaam over in zachte karamel en geroosterde smaken die elkaar aanvullen. Deze Black IPA dankt zijn rijke smaak aan de hopsoorten Citra, Sabro, Nelson Sauvin en Amarillo.

Dark brown with a frothy, off-white head. Aroma with a touch of oak, but ladened with vinegary off-notes that warn of infection. Taste is moderate bitter with a balsamico tartness. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Faint coffee. Lots of oak. Still drinkable, but I can hardly imagine the brewer intended that odd tartness. Bummer.

Bottle at home from Sterk, Amsterdam a new brewery for me I think, 15th October 23. Pours a murky dark brown black. Aroma is cocoa, green, citrus. Taste is bitter cocoa, light tart, green hops and coffee beans, roasted malts. It’s interesting and a nice BIPA

Bottle at home, black beer, small head. Aroma is citrus, malt, hops, roast. Taste is the same, bitter, roasty, citrussy, malt, light coffee? nice
