Optisch dunkles Spezibraun, in der Nase Malz, im Trunk ebenso, leichte Süße, verhältnismäßig süffig, dezent röstig, das passt. Deutlich besser als das IPA. Mit ordentlich Malz kann man auch nichts falsch machen ;-)

Klare, rotbraune Farbe. Frisch, malziger Geruch. Deutliche, bittere Kaffeenoten im Antrunk, dann kommt langsam die röstmalzige Süße durch. Röstig, bittere Noten bleiben bestimmend. Dunkle Schokolade mit Mokkafüllung. Ein Hauch von Traubensaft fliegt vorbei. Hopfung dezent. Der hohe Alkoholgehalt ist weitgehend verschleiert. Das Bier ist für 6,5 % Alk. erstaunlich leicht und süffig. Lebendige Carbonisierung.

Bottle @ Home. Pours clear dark amber with a huge tan head, loads of lively bubbles. Aroma of malt, caramel, bread, light dusty. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, bready, little chocolate. Thin to medium body, average to lively carbonation, sweet finish. Thin but pretty decent. 230921

bottle from lidl clear brown, light brown to yellow head. aroma is nutty and malty, brown sugar, coffe. flavor is brown sugar, malts, sweet nuts, white caramel, all the sweetness is rounded up by a quite strong euro hoppy bitter balance. Although perhaps a little bit too sweet, this is a very fair brown ale.

Bottled. A dark brown beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, caramel, and bread, leading to a bitter finish.

ABV: 6.5%. Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, straw, sweet malt, caramel, brown sugar, light caramelized malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, caramelized malt, caramel, brown sugar, bitter chocolate notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20201228]

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear, dark, nutty brown with a creamy, beige head. Toffee and caramel aroma. Medium body, rich and sweet malty with more toffee and now also a hint of roastiness. Slight roast bitter finish. The nose is more Amber than Brown, but the flavor cathes up. Decent. 071220
