8/4/2024. Draught at The Thirsty Pigeon, Douglas, IoM. Pours clear very dark ruby brown with a firm creamy lasting off-white to beige head. Good looking beer, if a little head heavy. Aroma is mildly roasted, milk chocolate, light coffee, caramel, dark fruits, berries, ashy edge. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with a very slight tart edge. Moderate body, smooth, fine carbonation. Decent pint.

Cask at Whitehouse, Peel, IOM. Dark ruby colour, small steady beige head. Nutty, caramel nose. Light-bodied. Earthy, nutty flavour. Light toffee in the finish. Ok.
