Honey, fig, prune, caramel malt, and fresh hay aroma. Cloudy brown with moderate light tan head. Moderately sweet prune/fig, caramel malt, and moderately bitter fresh hay and alcohol flavor. Nice body.

Very, very sweet, even for a doppelbock, with a huge front offering up caramel, date, raisin, cocoa, and malt syrup, with a touch of pumpernickel on the back end and a back-end bitterness than turns moderately saccharine as the pint warms. Very American.
