An extremely drinkable mix of Cox, Spartan, Edward VII and Kidds Orange Red apples from Laurel Tree farm at Boars Head, topped off with Dabinet from Quarry Farm. There's a lot going on: crisp acidity gives way to sweetness and a mellow tannin finish with lots of funky notes from the slow maturation.

330ml bottle from Bignose & Beardy. Golden colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, fruity. Taste is sweet, apple, tangy, hay & straw, with mellow citric acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-sweet finish. Quite drinkable.
