20/8/2023. Can shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours very dark mahogany brown/black with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma is nutty, dark fruits, dark malts, chocolate, cola, citrus, caramel, coffee, mild chilli. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness, puckering sours. Medium body, oily, average carbonation. Nice warm and tart finish. Very nice, and best McColl's I've had.

Chilli nose, rich roasty taste and building chilli afterburn. Far too drinkable at 11.3....

440ml can from S43. Dark black-brown colour, tan foam head and aroma of toasted malt, spicy chilli, chocolate. Taste is roasty, dark malt, fruity, chocolate, chilli heat, warming with spicy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roasty lingering chilli heat finish. Nicely drinkable.
