Still Medium Dry Fine Cider. Commix is a classic blended cider for drinking with food. This vintage is a blend of bitter sweets Dove, Yarlington Mill and Chisel Jersey, with the lovely light sharp Browns. The result is a well balanced, easy drinking cider with fresh fruit on the nose, palate cleansing acidity and good tannic backbone, balanced with a little residual sugar. Intentionally really great with food, a mix of dishes; try roast chicken & grilled vegetables, & go from there... Fermented with wild yeasts, with no sulphites, & no filtering or pasteurisation.

750ml bottle from Fine Cider Co. Hazy orange colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of fruity apple, orchardy, funk, mucky hint. Taste is sweetish, fruity, apple, juicy, with farmhouse funk, leather, earthy orchard, green wood, alittle citric tartness and lots of drying tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, drying tart and tannic at the finish. Very drinkable.
