Heldrich Pils, Flasche von Heldrich's Getränke-Eck, Edelsfeld. - Satt goldgelb, klar; schöner Schaum. - In der Nase getreidiges helles Malz, zart süß, Anklänge an Honig, feine zitrusfruchtige Hopfenherbe. - Antrunk kernig gerstig hellmalzig mit solider zitroniger und hopfenwürziger Herbe. Kaum süß. Milder rezent, mineralisch, trocken. Im Abgang solide hopfenwürzige Herbe und Orangenschalenbittere. - Sehr schönes Pilsener, trotz etwas höherer Drehzahl nur schlank malzig, trocken und kernig gehopft. (21.9.2019.)

Bottle 500ml. @ home. [ As Brauerei Heldrich Pils ].Clear medium yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, dusty, pale malt, fruity malt, light marzipan malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average duration, dusty, sweet malt, pale malt, straw, malty, light floral. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. 50cl bottle. A clear pale golden beer with a mid-sized most good lasting white head. Aroma of spicy hops, straw, mild grainy malt. Taste of mild grainy malt, soft metallic and spicy hops, straw, nothing special.

Bottle (purchased at the brasserie): Golden coloured, visible carbonation, smaller and faster vanishing white head, sticking to the glass, moderate grainy-bitter nose with a tinge of metal and alcohol; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; astonishingly traces of aromatic hops detectable in the short, dryish bitter-grainy finish. Not bad, but less than pleasant............

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond, medium-sized foamy head. Slightly spicy, herbal hoppy nose with light-sweet malty notes and a whiff of barnyard. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, soft on carbon. Malty and slightly fruity taste with herbal notes in the background, getting stronger towards the dry and moderately bitter finish. Pleasant Pilsener.
