Creamy aroma with just a hint of hops. Alcoholic, somewhat creamy flavor. Thin, too much sugar has been used to boost the ABV. No distracting flavors. Change the sugar for malt and you have a decent beer.

"Saaremaa X on kange õlu." O RLY? Then again, it’s a *lot* better than for example Finnish IV B. Not so malty and quite sweet. But not good enough to be drunken twice...

Smells like cooked vegetables. Sweet and alcoholic taste, with notes of citrus. Sweet and alcoholic water, really. Shared 27. Oct. 2009 at Rating session in Tromsø.

Thanks to Stefaan! Good, fine & dense yellowish head over well-carbonated yellow-golden beer; end of bottle fully hazy. Sweet, alcoholic nose, pale malts and oxydized malts. More alcohol and more alcohol... just the CO² alleviating the sweetness. Old cookies, almonds, forgotten piece of marzipan. Sharp burning MF, near overcarbonated, fiery alcoholwarming. Terrible malt liquor.

500ml bottle that concluded our rating session of Estonian beers in late October. Fast fading chalky foam. Yellow-golden body. Aroma of alcohol and a note of malts. Sweet maltiness in flavour with alcohol steam behind. Rather vapid on the swallow. Thanks to Stefan and Elisabeth for sharing (Tromsø, 27.10.2009).

Bottle 50cl. @ home.Clear light to medium orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, tosted, riped fruit, sugar - syrup, alcohol. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long to average duration, and a pungent aftertaste. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20090201]

bottle. Clear pale yellow, large white head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, quite sweet and malty, rounded off with some shy but good aromatic hops. I rather liked it, I think this is really a good strong lager.
