Draught@TCBW2022. Hazy yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is some alcoholsweetness, mild tartness and also salty elements with some apples and earth. Flavour is green apple skins, apple juice with some alcohol sweetness, tart berries and some slight salty elements. Kind of strange, but also works strangely well.

Technically, the first tick of the Prague Beer Fest 2023 for me, courtesy of the excellent Anderson's folks. Way to start the events by a 11% imperial gose. But it sure made it work. Murky orange, off-white head. Not perfectly appealing, but okay.... the true beauty comes from the aroma, where only a faint faint trace of alcohol could vaguely mess with the madeleine effect this caused, with the sweet soft apple and cinnamon combo kicking me right in the childhood, and my grandma's apple strudel. The same notes continued on into the taste, soft sweetish apples and cinnamon, liquid strudel, warming nicely, slightly tart and vaguely flat by the finish. Well, hats off Anderson's, this was fantastic - a feeling shared by pretty much everyone who'd had it at the festival! The extra age must've just pushed it slightly towards excellence.

33cl bottle from Biiru's Christmas Calendar. Pours hazy dark golden top orange without much head to speak of. Apple and cinnamon as promised - taste like apple cake, sweet sour and spicy. Quite desserty and not bad as such, not very beery in any way, thou....
