Can. Golden amber. Not far off clear with a 2cm white head. Sweet tropical fruit aroma with some peach and minor citrus notes. Creamy texture; medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Sweet at first with a melange of tropical and stone fruit that wanted something to define it. Then a grumbling spiciness that's presumably the rye comes through towards the fairly bitter finish. Lots of good elements here but it lacks a bit of shape and doesn't offer enough for its strength.

There's a very restrained rye presence, with aromas of honey, grapefruit, mango and peach. Those fruity flavours come through nicely in the mouth with a good hop presence and a nice long finish. Very good, but not quite elite.
