175 Jahre Brauerei Scherdel Hof – Anlass genug ein fast schon in Vergessenheit geratenes Bier wieder neu aufleben zu lassen. Als Jubiläumsabfüllung haben wir das Scherdel Landbier, ein Exportbier nach einem alten original Scherdel Rezept, neu eingebraut. Bernsteinfarben, mild gehopft und malzig im Geschmack löscht es jeden Durst. Prost!

Trockener, wenig karamelliger Beginn. Schwacher Körper, das Bier bleibt auch im weiteren Verlauf laff, süß-malzig, mittellanger Abgang, ok. 10/7/8/9/10/8

Bottle. Deep golden color, frothy head. Grassy, malty aroma with hints of butter and cinnamon. malty sweet, buttery flavor with grass. Grassy hopbitter aftertaste, almost oily. Fairly well balanced landbier.

Trübes bernsteinfarbenes Zwickel mit geringem Schaum. Geruch hopfig grasig, Geschmack angenehm herb, minimal säuerlich, süffig.

Amber colour, white head. Aroma of pale malts, green apples. Flavour is light malty, light plastic, light bready, light grassy.

The bottle looks simple, but good. The beer in the glass zippy, huge head. Starts mild, hoppy-grasy, more and more spicy. A bit moldy for a short moment, a bit sweet. Finish well balanced, spicy. Good landbier!

Bottled. An amber beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and bread, leading to a lightly bitter finish.

Bottle. Sweet caramel malt and hay hops aroma. Clear amber color with moderate head. Sweet caramel malt and mildly bitter hay hops flavor. Medium body. Very nice beer.

Bottle 50 cl. Clear deep golden with a small off-white head. Sweetish malty aroma. Medium body, roasted malt and caramel, a little sulphur. Dry, lightly bitter finish. 040409

Bright copper with a rocky head. Relatively light toasty/caramel character. Gets toastier as it goes, with light breadcrust. A touch watery to really be good.

Bottle 50cl.Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, dusty, nutty and apple notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090404]
