33cl swing top bottle. Spent golden color, fine white head, fair persistence fizzy at first. Flavor is malt, sytup, a prominent starchy note for a relatively thick body and oily texture. Bread, Grass notes, light metallic-ish bitternes. Medium-strong carbonation, taste is kind of juicy sugary, moderate bitter, slick finish.

33 cl. flip-top bottle @ home, bought @ Edeka, Kleve. Clear light golden with a big white head. Grassy grainy aroma. Taste is medium bitter with some metallic notes and a long bitter finish. A typical middle of the road German pilsener: solid but unexciting

Swing top bottle. Golden color. Hints of malt, grass and citrus in the aroma. malty, slightly hay-like flavor with apple. Somewhat disappointing and also a bit thin.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle from 'Rudat', best before August 2018. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy-spicy aroma of grains and some straw. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-spicy taste of grains and some straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-spicy and moderately dry finish. Thin to medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not bad but far from great, way too tame for a Pils, disappointing.

0,33 l swing top bottle. Pale golden, little bit unclear, nearly two finger off white head. Grassy and hay on the nose. Taste has some caramel, grassy with sweetness, low malt in the background. Low bitterness for a Pilsener. Medicore.
