Sold as Rosé van Steenberge. Raspberry blonde color. raspberry juice and lemon in the not-too-artificial aroma. Sugary sweet flavor with aspartame bitterness and raspberry. The flavor disappoints after the decent aroma.

Pours a clear dark red/ruby color, topped with a rather small pink(ish) head. There’s a nice soury fruit aroma - raspberries of course. Taste is sweet and fruity, berries of course, with a soury feel in the end. A decent one, really.

Bottle at Haymarket Pub in Chicago, October 21, 2011. Instead of dessert, I drank this beer. Extremely sweet with aroma and taste of mostly raspberries. 5% alcohol, what are you talking about?

Sampled from an8.4 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy red-plum color with a small pink head that left a touch of lacing. The aroma was sweet tangy raspberry with notes of sugar and red meat. The flavor was tart and tangy raspberry with a sugary and yeasty undertone. The finish was long, tart and tangy berry. Medium body. Nice.

Bottle at Trebenzios in Wilmington. Deep purple color. Aroma and taste of massive fruit. Not subtle. But not too sweet, and not sour either. It is what it is, truth in advertising.

Sample from bottle. Still entering my ratings from the Glunz Beer Expo last April. Nice reddish color in glass with some foam. Excellent raspberry smell; nothing cloying or artificial. Just tastes like a nice Belgian raspberry beer (as opposed to, say, a raspberry Lifesaver). No tartness. Sweet fruit flavor with some malts and very little bitterness.

Poured from small bottle, enjoyed on vacation in San Francisco. Aroma is pretty much like fresh raspberries. Appearance is a cloudy red with a white head. Taste is like fresh raspberries and rather sour aftertaste. I’m not one for lambics but this is pretty tasty stuff.

Slightly lighter and less carbonated than other lambics. Nose and taste of sour raspberry and other fruits. Rated 1/14/03

8.4oz bottle from City Beer in SF
Appearance: Pours a deep beery read with a light red (pink) head, some lacing left in the glass
Aroma: Raspberries and sweet malts
Taste: Tart raspberries with slight sweet finish
I really enjoyed this beer. This would taste great with ice cream or just for desert by itself
