Shiny is brewed with Nicaraguan coffee roasted and cold brewed by Tin Man Roasters specifically for this beer. The beer pours a light orange colour presenting an intense floral, honey and chocolate flavour with medium citric acidity and creamy mouthfeel provided by the coffee.
Note: 2016 version at 5.5%, 2020 and 2022 at 5.5%.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5
Can. Amber with a lasting inch of off white head. Aroma is lightly roasted coffee with little berries and dark chocolate. In the taste there's a lightly bready and pithy IPA underneath but the coffee bosses the show. That makes for an intense, almost acrid, bitterness at the end. Bold and rather good. You'd want to like bitterness though.
