Pours opaque black into the glass with a moderately fluffy tan head. Aromas of chocolate and fresh roasted coffee meander towards molasses and minerality. Dark and nutty toasted barley on the palate with notes of light smoke, dark chocolate, and a nicely bitter coffee finish that glides over the tongue. Strong enough to knock out your demons smooth enough to keep you out of their grasp.

Can. Pretty much black with a modest tan head. Roasty aroma with hints of mocha and spices. There's a touch of singed caramel in the taste as well but it's pretty dry with firm roasted flavours and some hop bitterness too. Good in a style that I rarely love.
