Bottle passed onto me by Glen, cheers mate! Poured Orange amber with white head, some sweetness and also sharpness are immediately apparent. Good bitterness, rich full flavour, good spiciness, aroma like clove spiked orange’s with some chinese five spice there as well. Preferred this to the Firebox!

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet combined with a slight acidic touch and notes of berries, malt, and grapefruit. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of peaches and mangos, leading to a dry bitter finish. The body is thin inspite of the 6% ABV - perhaps lacking a bit of residual sugar.

Bottle, at Cardinal. Hazy, golden body, topped by a minimalt off-white head. The aroma and flavor surprised me a bit, I was expecting more of a pale ale or something like that. It is quite sweet, with ginger, malt and hops, and the flavor has some dried fruits as well. The ginger comes through in the finish as well, and is followed by a pleasant hoppiness. Medium body. I find it a bit heavy on the ginger, but else it is quite nice. (070623)

bottle at home ... copper colour ... quite a bit of fizzz ... nice fruity hop with touch of lime ... Sweet caramel malt front with a little sourness ... grapefuit showing through ... some sweet hop resins ... finishing with dry linger.

Bottle, 6.0% at KØ07. Spicy aroma with a little ginger. Hazy golden colour, very small head. Quite nice spicy flavour, again reminding me of ginger.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, amber golden with a small, off-white head. Fruity aroma with a hint of ginger. Fairly full-bodied with lightly sweet malt notes and then a solid dose of ginger. The finish is somewhat astringent. 120507

0.5L bottle purchased from Beverage Castle in Tampa that poured out clear copper with nice lasting off white head. In the aroma I get dark fruit like plums and dates in a cinnamon covered pie. It has a very interesting flavor with cinnamon coated plums and dates then a slice of apple and sweet grape juice. I also get other spices like bits of coriander and maybe cloves. There is an un-mistakable level of tobacco smokiness that seems to ride along as an undercurrent just beneath the other flavors.

CBF07 sample from bottle. Pours golden orange. Aroma is perfumed aroma hops. Flavour is perfumed, slight malty. Rather dry finish. Not good. 4-3-5-3-9=2.4

50 cL bottle (Wessex Craft Ale Mary). Pours slight hazy orange with a lacing white head. Aroma is spiced, ginger, cloves and coriander. Slight acidic aroma. Flavour is floral towards a sweet caramel flavour. A slight spiced note can be sensed with a mild sweet note. Ends with slight herbal and hoppy dryness. Has a slight soapy note. Nice.6-3-6-3-12=3

Spicy aroma. Definitely ginger. Medium amber color with shards of lacing from a minimal head. Starts spicy. Ginger and coriander. Some malt, followed by dark fruit -raisin? Hard to define the finish. I suppose the spice complements the hop. Ginger all the way. Quite a complex thing.
