Copper colour with a big off-white head. Malty aroma with biscuit and bread crust, and notes of dried fruit. Sweetish malty flavour with rich, bready character, a touch of fruit and a phenolic note. Grassy hops and a rather bitter finish.

Bottle (purchased at the brewery): Clear, amber coloured, mid-sized and slowly collapsing loose off-white head, mild, but distinctive toasty-fruity nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied and soft; increasing, but sill mild, bitterness towards the dark-malty and sweetish chocolatey finish. Quite well balanced, quite good...

Röstiger, leicht säuerlicher Beginn. Das Bier wird dann bitterer, die Röstigkeit bleibt konstant. Kurzzeitig wässrig. Geringe Schokoladennoten, zum Ende wässrig-herb. Anganehme Getreidenoten. 9/9/11/9/10/9
