Bottled 500ml. -at Café Abseits Bamberg. Pale golden coloured, small white head, mild malty alcoholic nose. Sweet malty, light grainy, touch of fruits and honey with mild traces of alcohol in the finish. Served too cold.

500ml Bottle - Golden with a small white head. Citrus, pear and white bread in the aroma. Malty taste with notes of grain, aniseed,citrus and a hint of syrup.

Flasche (50 cl) vom unschlagbaren Hopfen & Malz, Berlin-Wedding. - Goldgelb, leicht trüb. - Die Nase erinnert mit Hefe, frischer, milder Zitrusfrucht und etwas grasiger Schärfe eher an das Rossdorfer Urbräu als an einen Bock. - Auch im Antrunk zunächst frisch hefig und zitrusfruchtig hopfig, bevor etwas dickere helle Malzsüße den Bock verrät. Anklänge von Honig und Sahnebonbons. Im Abgang harmoniert die Malzsüße nicht so recht mit den leicht grasigen, schwach krautigen Hopfenaromen. Zurück bleibt ein leicht dumpfer, etwas schroffer Nachtrunk. - Angenehm leichter heller Bock mit schönen zitronig-grasigen Hopfenwerten, aber nicht ganz gelungenem Abgang.

(swing top bottle, purchased at the brewery) Clear, pale golden colour with a big and blond foamy head. Slightly biscuity and doughy malty aroma with notes of herbal hops and shades of citrus. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Pale malty, subtle fruity and mildly herbal hoppy taste; mildly sweet and bitter hoppy finish with a deceptively muted alcoholic strength. A goodie. 10.XI.12

Tapped: Golden, creamy and stable white head, lazy carbonation, drier bisquity-malty nose with distinctive honeyish touch and lots of herbal hops underneath; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; lingering - even hoppier - bitter-bisquity finish with a slight alcoholic tartness. Süßlicher Antrunk, dezent herb, dunkelgrasig. Etwas klebrig, was sich später in Würze wandelt. Das Bier wird so allgemein dunkle, wobei sämtliche Aromen erhalten bleiben. Nun schwerer, dennoch weitestgehend süffig, insgesamt angenehm. Herberer Abgang. 7/8/8/8/9/8

Tap, Abseits. Golden and slightly tawny. A bit dull. Slightly caramelly, bready character. Fairly rich malts. A fairly standard bock, not one of the best.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted, marzipan, moderate hoppy, flowers, perfume, fruity. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fresh. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091219]

Bottled. Pale golden colour, small white head. Aroma is malts and hops with some slight nutty hints. Flavour is very malty and alcoholic. Quite watery for being 7 %.

Pale golden color, small white head. Grassy, maybe a bit yeasty aroma. Grassy hoppy standard bock, some extra crisp bite is in it. Flavor is also someway sweetish.
