Bottle. Drak brown color, creamy head. Coffee and blackcurrant in the aroma. Bitter sweetish flavor with Mon Chérie cherry pralines. Coffee, caramel and some alcohol. Thin, but characterful. Soft bitter aftertaste with some raisin fruit.

Bottle form Peckhams, Glasgow. Chestnut coloured with a frothy, off-white head. Sweet, fruity aroma. Flavour had some caramel, nuts, dark fruit and an earthy, dry finish. Good.

brown/light red coloured ale, with a malt nose and a ruby malt flavor , little fruity malt little bitter chocolate. Moved as was wrongly placed in Cask rating when beer was split.

Bottle (RBESG 2008): Chestnut-reddish coloured, small persistent head; dark-malt and liquorice in the nose; light bitter-sourish flavour, quite light bodied; short bitter-malty finish. Not convincing...........

Bottle 50cl.Clear medium red amber color with a average, frothy, good lancing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, brown sugar, vintage notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (180508)

Bottle, RBESG08 grand tasting Brown body with an off white head. Light malty nose. Light malty taste with some light bitterness and not much else. Not impressive at all but ok I guess.

Bottle at ÅBF08. Weak hoppy and sweetly malty aroma. Clear brown colour. The flavour is malty and grainy like all other British ales.

RBESG2008: 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden amber to hazzlenut brown. Holds a slowly collapsing tan head. Mild cornish and light roasted malt. Flat malty flavour. Ends medium dry malty.

Århus2008. 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a minimal and lacing white head. Fruity aroma with a mild caramel/toffee base. Flavour is mild sweet caramel malt followed gardually with a growing solid fruity note. Light spiced and bitternes in the finish.
