Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It pours a clear yellowish golden body under a white head. Quite buttery nose with some fruity hops. Pale malts as well. The flavor has a malty backbone where some buttery notes are found, and a hoppy touch up front. Dry, sweet and bitter finish. Medium body. Even though I award a four on both aroma and flavor, the flavor is on a higher level. Still, the beer is just one in the crowd. 090821

(bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a short foamy white head. Discreet aroma of light-sweet pale malt with a tinge of orange fruits and shy herbal hops. Light-sweet flavour, light bodied with a medium carbonation. Soft malt-accented taste, shy yeasty-fruity notes; dry, malty finish with a faint hoppy and yeasty bitterness. A bit boring.

From the tap (at Friedmanns Bräustüberl Gräfenberg, Franconia) Golden coloured, firm white head; fresh aromatic hoppy nose; mild malty flavour, creamy texture, nearly no aftertaste. Not a must......
